1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to your use of the VaxFile app, provided by Little Handy Apps:

2. What VaxFile is
VaxFile helps you keep a record of vaccinations for yourself and your family, and shows vaccination schedules based on official national sources. VaxFile is a record-keeping tool only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Schedules may not reflect the latest updates or your family's individual situation. Always consult your doctor or healthcare provider before making decisions about vaccinations.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 to create an account. You may enter data about children and other family members only if you are their parent or carer, or otherwise entitled to do so. Keep your login details secure.
4. Free and Premium
The free version lets you keep records for one person. Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features, such as unlimited family members, multiple country schedules per person, calendar integration, AI document scanning and PDF export. Premium is bought through the App Store or Google Play and is subject to their terms. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Your statutory rights are not affected. Premium is linked to the store account you bought it with and can be restored on other devices using that account. Deleting your VaxFile account doesn't refund a Premium purchase.
5. Your data
You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. Results in the app, including AI-scanned records, can be inaccurate, so check them before saving. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use VaxFile unlawfully, try to access other users' data, interfere with the service, or extract data from it by automated means.
7. Availability
We aim to keep VaxFile available and up to date, but can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue VaxFile, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can save your records.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential obligations (obligations that make proper use of the app possible and on which you may regularly rely), limited to the damage typically foreseeable at the time. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. These limits also apply to people acting on our behalf.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using VaxFile and delete your account at any time in the app under Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, after a warning where reasonable.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we'll inform you in the app. Changes only apply to you once you've accepted them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
12. Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
