If your child was born earlier
6-in-1 vaccine (since April 2025)
Since April 2025, the 6-in-1 vaccine (DaBT-İPA-Hib-HepB) has replaced the 5-in-1 vaccine (DaBT-İPA-Hib) in the calendar, combining it with the hepatitis B vaccine. Older vaccination cards usually show the 5-in-1 vaccine and separate hepatitis B doses.
Second chickenpox dose (since September 2026)
The second chickenpox dose at 48 months was added on 1 September 2026. Children aged 49 to 72 months who haven't had it are offered a catch-up dose.
Moving away from Türkiye with children
- Take the vaccination card (aşı kartı) with you. Your doctor in the new country checks it against the local schedule and offers any missing doses.
- Your new country may schedule vaccines differently. For example, Germany and the Netherlands don't routinely give BCG, oral polio or hepatitis A to children, and Germany requires proof of measles vaccination for Kita and school.
